Parts Supervisor and Storekeeper

A major engineering company in the vicinity of Bromyard, Herefordshire requires a Parts Supervisor-Storekeeper for the control of machinery engineering parts .

The role of the Parts Supervisor-Storekeeper will be involved in the procurement of engineering machinery parts and dealing with suppliers to the best advantage of the company.

As a key member of staff, the Parts Supervisor-Storekeeper will play a fundamental intermediate staff member role in dealing with both customers and internal staff.

The Parts Supervisor-Storekeeper will need to demonstrate fundamental attention to detail and accuracy in the correct administration of machine parts reports to customers and internal staffing.

The company is wanting to purchase and implement a new computerised stock control system for the business for the efficient control and enhanced profitability of the company’s engineering machinery parts.

Candidates will need to have excellent communication skills and a good personality in dealing with both customers and suppliers. Candidates will need to show an appropriate business-like approach for inventory parts control.
