Role Overview & Responsibilities

Seeking full-time experienced Contact Lens Technician.

Come work for a FANTASTIC Eye Care Practice, serving our community for over 30 years! Our specialized contact lens team is seeking a candidate who enjoys the contact lens field. We fit orthokeratology, keratoconus as well as multi-focal lenses, and soft daily lenses.

The ideal candidate must have experience working with both gas-permeable and soft contact lenses.

Among many responsibilities are obtaining VSP benefits, billing VSP for medically necessary and elective lenses, insertion and removal training, and educating patients on lens options and insurance coverage.

Required:

Previous experience as a Contact Lens Technician
Understanding and knowledge of contact lens terminology and infectious control techniques

Understanding and knowledge of VSP benefits
Must be competent in collecting/interpreting data from patients
Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others
Detail-oriented, energetic, excellent verbal and communication skills, self-motivated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
