Role Overview & Responsibilities

Opportunity for a junior developer with 1+ years full-time experience to join our Soho marketing agency within a growing digital team. We wireframe, design and build all our websites in-house, and are looking for a developer to carry out daily tasks, assist other developers on full website builds and lead on building holding pages, all whilst developing their own skill set with our support to grow within the agency.

Skills

Whilst we are looking for someone eager to learn and develop along multiple pathways, and will provide the support to do so, the base skill set we are ideally looking to develop to begin with:

  • Building HTML emailers (eg MailChimp)
  • Github
  • Managing live/dev domains
  • Taking websites from dev to live server
  • Basic HTML/CSS
  • Basic Javascript/jquery
  • Updating CMS systems (WordPress etc)
  • Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Sketch
  • Any existing knowledge in these areas will be a benefit.

Whilst carrying out your duties, you will be closely supported by our creatives and developers to help you develop the skills we utilise most commonly within the agency, whilst also being encouraged to explore your own passions.

Who are we?

We’re a 24-strong team working in Soho, building brands and relationships all over the world primarily within the built environment. We are design led. We are strategic. We are ambitious.

Our culture

We work hard and we are committed to producing the best creative solutions to all project briefs. We pride ourselves on giving added value where the little extra touches will set our work apart. We aim to provide individuals with the platform to progress and we are open to creating opportunities for people

to achieve their goals across a variety of disciplines and career levels.

We will be growing our team further over 2022 to reflect our growing client base and are looking for more people to be a part of the busy and lively studio of talented people. We don’t work in silos. We encourage a team mentality and enjoy being together in order to produce our best work, whilst maintaining a flexible working policy.

We are made up of four departments — Client Services, Creative, Digital, Finance.

Hybrid working – we operate Monday and Friday from home and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the studio with the emphasis on being together, knowledge sharing and collaboration.

We have introduced a Wellness Benefit package per individual to be spent on wellness initiatives, physical and mental. We also have team budgets to be spent on collaboration sessions such as coffee meetings or creative events which will benefit team spirit and project learnings.
