JOB DESCRIPTION - BEAUTY THERAPIST

Store: John Lewis & Partners, Newcastle

MISSION

For our Beauty Counters, we are looking for a NVQ (or equivalent) level 2 or higher, Beauty Therapist. You need to be passionate about exceptional service & luxury skincare. You must be approachable, friendly and be able to work independently and part of a team to develop and drive the beauty room services and on counter protocols.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

• Desire to learn product knowledge, application techniques and beauty room treatments & protocols.
• Achieving KPI’s set by achieving targets and goals set, delivering mix of business identified by the company and following marketing calendar.
• Add new customers onto the registry system and update existing ones on every visit.
• Comfortable traffic stopping and initiating activity on counter activity.
• Ability to use POS software and other digital systems required to successfully run the counter.
• Maintain all counter standards and beauty room appearance and cleanliness and follow merchandising guidelines.
• Develop positive relationships on counter and in store.
• As a Sisley brand ambassador ensure grooming standards and attitude reflect the brands luxury image.
• Drive bookings to achieve occupancy targets.
• Other tasks may include eventing, make up artistry, demonstrations and hair and scalp analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Level 2 NVQ (equivalent) or higher.
• Previous beauty retail industry experience is essential.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide excellent personalised customer service..

• 8 hour shift
