Role Overview & Responsibilities

Skea Egg Farms Ltd is a significant player in the agri-food sector supplying eggs to major retailers in Northern Ireland and mainland UK. We are currently recruiting for the following position.

MACHINE OPERATOR

THE ROLE:

• Perform duties as trained in a safe and efficient manner, e.g., switch on/off moba graders, remove and replace receivers, buffers and drop sets, calibrate moba graders, operate the computer system, maintain inkjet systems etc.
• Adhere to health and safety, hygiene, and quality procedures.
• Accurately complete all associated administrative duties and checks within agreed procedures and timescales.
• Achieve and maintain an awareness of supermarket ordering and documentation system.
• Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant personnel including (but not limited to) Intake Manager, back of line operatives, machine operative assistants & QA 1st pack check operatives and appropriate Despatch & Packaging personnel to achieve production targets and to assist in the smooth running of the business.
• Carry out back of the line duties when required.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Contribute towards achieving and maintaining a positive working environment.

• Experience in a similar role is desirable.

Hours: 6.30am – 4pm Monday – Friday

You will be required to work a Saturday every third week and will be given a day off the following week in lieu of the Saturday worked
