Role Overview & Responsibilities

VARIOUS SHIFTS AVAILABLE - MONDAY TO FRIDAY - 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK

PERMANENT Contracts / Fixed Term Contracts or Temporary Contracts Available

Salary – £28,000 - £39,000 per annum PLUS Overtime available

DAY SHIFT 7am – 3.45pm Mon- Fri

EARLY SHIFT 6am – 2.15pm Mon - Fri

AFTERNOON SHIFTS – 4 DAYS PER WEEK - 2.15pm – 12.30am Mon – Thurs (12.00am Midnight Finish Thurs)

Role and Responsibilities

• To perform general inspection of the parts picked
• To ensure parts are prepared as per instruction on the works orders and drawings for welding
• To carry out MIG welding (TIG desirable but not essential)
• To ensure work performed meets the production timescales.
• To adhere to the company safe systems of work

Skills

• Ideally you will be apprentice trained or time served.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Experienced MIG & TIG welding - (MIG welding essential TIG welding desirable)
• Ability to work in a team or on your own.

Benefits

· Salary £28,000 - £39,000 per annum (£14 to £20 per hour) plus overtime

· 33 Days holiday per year (25 Days plus 8 Bank Holidays)

· Once passing the qualifying period enrolled into company pension 4% contribution paid by Employer increased to 6% after 12 months.

· Canteen facilities plus pool table for lunch break.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable MIG welding to a high standard on various thickness and materials.
