Trainee or Qualified Dental Nurse

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are passionate about providing high quality dental services to members of our community. With dental practices across the UK, our practices provide NHS and private dental care.

Smile Dental Care requires a Dental Nurse to join our existing team within the Totton Practice.

You will be an experienced, GDC registered Dental Nurse who is enthusiastic, reliable, and professional and customer focused.

Or you may be looking to start your career in dentistry with us as a Trainee Dental Nurse, enrolled or looking to enrol on a Dental Nursing course. We have an experienced, long standing team to support you.

Full-time, Permanent- Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm

With a daily 45mins unpaid lunch break.

1 Saturday a month 8.45am-2.00pm

2 Thursday evenings a month – 17.15-19.30

Duties and Responsibilities:

To work together with the dental team to deliver safe, caring and high quality Dental care to patients.

Enhanced DBS and pre-employment checks apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £9.00-£11.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Southampton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
• Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Valid GDC registration (preferred)
