SMQ Legal Services has an exciting opportunity in our Burton Office for a Legal Assistant

We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team and provide support to the Burton-on- trent office. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting receptionist/secretarial duties, arranging appointments and providing general support to our partners. Additionally, the Legal Assistant will be expected to deal with client queries, draft legal documents and manage diary entries. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for the legal field. Knowledge of the probate/court of protection processes is desirable, but not essential.

We are looking for someone who can fit into a small team, with a willingness to help and get things done.

Responsibilities:

  • Reception/ Secretarial duties
  • Managing diary entries
  • Draft legal documents
  • Dealing with correspondence
  • Provide administrative support to lawyers and/or fee earners
  • Adhere to strict client privacy & confidentiality practices

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Β£20,319.00 per year
