SC cleared Field Engineer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Scope - Looking for a SC cleared Field engineer for ad hoc work. The SC cleared field engineer will be required to provide support for break fix on a 24x7x4 Onsite SLA.

To provide support and resolve technical issues onsite. Activities to include and may not be limited to:

• Physical installation of equipment
• Connection to the Customer's network
• First configuration of network devices
• Installation and or replacement of APs
• Racking and stacking of servers and switches
• Patching and cable management
• Deployment of Pcs and Laptops
• Setting and configuring printers - HP, Ricoh, Cannon etc.
• Imaging of windows PCs and Servers
• Installation and first configuration of Firewalls - Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortigate etc.

Tools required:

• Windows 10 or higher laptop
• Console cable
• Mobile phone with tethering capabilities
• Standard tools for racking of equipment
• And any other tools required for a specific task

The Field engineer will be required to perform each task as per the instructions of the remote support team and provide Eyes and smart hands to the remote support.

Work will be adhoc and can be on a SLA period or planned changes where by dates of intervention will be given in advance.
