JOB ROLE

As part of the production team, you will;

• Possess the ability to work effectively with other people, in a well organised manner and can communicate as fluently as needed.
• Follow start up and close down procedures, and maintain a clean working environment throughout the day. This includes duties such as sweeping, mopping, wiping and general clear down/clean up.
• You will need to demonstrate that you can work safely and in accordance with the Company hygiene rules at all times.
• Follow detailed instructions, ensuring high quality and accuracy at all times.
• Checking products for quality and reporting any defects.
• Taking delivery of materials, this will include heavy lifting of ingredients.
• Help pack finished products for delivery.

We would like applicants to be able to work and demonstrate skills and experience within the below areas:

• Comfortable working in a factory environment within a small team.
• Able to work to deadlines and multi-task.
• Be organised and have good attention to detail.
• Comfortable completing any required paperwork.
• Responsible for the weighing, mixing & packaging of products using machinery.
• Shows good time management.
• Desires responsibility & is willing to step up when needed.
• Demonstrates ambition to grow with the company & provides input to develop products & processes.
• Has a passion for food & creativity.
• Can cope with a very physical role.

The role will suit candidates who have worked for a small or medium company and are willing to work in a hands-on varied role, previous Food Industry/Bakery experience is desired.

Salary: £10.42-£12.00 per hour
