Van Delivery Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking to recruit an experienced van driver with flexibility and a good work ethic to be working from our plant based in Redruth

Purpose of the role

• To deliver and collect goods between the company site and customer premises in a safe, secure and timely manner
• Efficient and accurate loading and unloading of items in accordance with company methods and materials
• Recording and accurate completion of documents
• To display a professional and courteous approach to all customers, motorists and other members of the public
• To maintain a high quality of vehicle care including; avoiding damage and regular cleaning
• Completing daily safety checks of vehicle
• Driving within the UK highway code regulations
• THE ROLE INVOLVES REPETITIVE AND HEAVY LIFTING THAT WILL AT TIMES REQUIRE CARRYING PACKED LAUNDRY HAMPERS UP AND DOWN STAIRCASES AND STEPS AND WITHIN CONFINED SPACES

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £11.38 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• van driving: 1 year (preferred)
