About us

Southern Piped Services Ltd offer a comprehensive range of Industrial and commercial heating and plumbing services.

We are looking for a Plumbers Mate to join our growing team. As a Plumbers Mate, you will be responsible for assisting our qualified plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in Industrial and commercial properties.

Responsibilities:

• Assist plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
• Carry tools and materials to job sites
• Prepare job sites by setting up equipment and tools
• Cut, measure, and assemble pipes and fittings
• Remove and replace old plumbing fixtures
• Keep work areas clean and tidy
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Plumbers Mate is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures
• Willingness to learn and expand knowledge of the plumbing trade
