Role Overview & Responsibilities
My client, a biotech company in the heart of Cambridge, whose major objective is focused on transformational medicines is looking to engage with a Cancer Biology Scientist who is passionate about innovation.
The ideal candidate will be working with a highly equipped discovery team and your responsibilities will include-
- Identifying and validating Novel Target.
- Running assays for the development of therapeutic agents.
- Increasing the biological understanding of programs.
- Generating key data for compound evaluation necessary for the programs.
- Working closely with the matrixed team to plan strategies.
Requirements
- Background in Oncology
- Experience using molecular biology techniques like PCR, Western blotting, ELISAs, etc.
- Experience in running routine biochem/biophys assays.
- Experience working in a cell culture laboratory and evaluating biological mechanisms.
- Ability to analyze and communicate experimental results.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £24,820.38-£44,546.70 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cambridge, Cambridgeshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
