Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our food and beverage department have set up a street food van, on our beautiful estate. We are a vibrant Cornish resort forged by the greatest golfing legacy. It’s a place where you can experience warm Cornish hospitality in the most captivating surroundings. St. Mellion Estate offers a veritable collection of exceptional golf and leisure facilities.

Working independently in our street food van, we are looking for an experienced cook with a minimum of 1 years' experience. You must understand food allergens and have knowledge of food hygiene and be confident working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements / Experience for this role:

• Experience in a fast-paced catering environment
• Takes the lead on a shift-by-shift basis.
• Confident working independently
• Eagerness to join a team that enjoys working together to deliver an experience that has a lasting impression on our guests, visitors, and members
• Working knowledge of food safety
• Good communications skills
• Willingness to learn

• Preferred Background:
• Professional or educational relevant qualification
• Experience with working in a venue environment

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: From £11.00 per hour
