Role Overview & Responsibilities

Night Shift Packer

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic night shift packer to join our small but busy team. You will be working within the catering trade which is fast paced and demanding. We are a family run business based in Granton in Edinburgh and deliver throughout Scotland.

Responsibilities

· You would be responsible for accurately and efficiently packing customer orders with fresh produce and a variety of sundry items.

· Providing our customers with 1st class produce is extremely important to us and as such you will be expected to complete a through quality check of all items as you pack them.

· Completing nightly clean down

· Completing relevant product safety checks and paperwork

Skills

· No experience necessary, all we are looking for is a reliable, friendly and positive individual

· Applicant must be able to ensure a high level of accuracy while working efficiently

· Ability to develop a good product and customer knowledge

· Be comfortable working to tight deadlines.

• Please note this is a very physical job which involves being on your feet and regular manual handling lifting up to 25kg

Hours of Work

· 5 nights per week (Sunday- Friday) from 8pm until orders finished (approx. between 4am and 6:30am)

Please note that due to the remote location of the business and lack of public transport throughout the night applicants must have their own transport or live locally.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
