X-Ray NDT ( Level2) Aerospace

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Stately Strategic are working in partnership with a leading Aerospace business in the Derby area and they are looking for NDT Level two (X-Ray) Radiography on a full-time basis due to continued growth and projects.

• Aerospace NDT Process experience
• You will understand the products, equipment setup, and NDT operations.
• Be able to follow specific operating procedures.
• Follow and promote Health & Safety practices.
• Interpret and evaluate test results.
• Work with X-Ray generating equipment.
• Understand radiographic testing.
• Processing radiographic films.
• Set up, operate and calibrate all X-Ray equipment.
• Assist with all process and control checks
• Interpret, evaluate and report evaluation results as required and outlined.

Ideal candidate Specification

• NAS410/EN4179 level II X-Ray qualifications.
• Experience working within a Radiography department.
• Experience in working with X-Ray equipment.
• Provide logged hours as a level 2 NDT X-ray technician.
• Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and other Quality / NDT auditing/accreditation systems.

Working Shift

There is one night position and one Monday to Thursday 12 hour day position available Nights Monday to Thursday 6.00pm-6.00am £15.10 plus 33% Shift (20.08 Per hour)
