Estimator Steel Fabrication

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our client is a growing structural steel fabricator and erector needing a lead fab estimator.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare estimates on new projects and estimate prices on change orders
• Read and interpret job bid instructions and detailed specifications for preparation of estimates
• Develop and write accurate job scopes with GC clients
• Prepare take off of materials, estimate all necessary labor, materials, buyout items and equipment costs to prepare a thorough estimate
• Computerized estimating experience a plus (Tekla / Fabsuite)
• Coordinate estimates for proposals as related to the cost of pre-construction
• Additional Duties & Responsibilities as required by a small business.

• Structural Steel Fabrication
• Structural Steel Erection
• Miscellaneous Steel / Misc Metals fabrication and installation
• Metal Deck
• Bar Grating
• Steel Joists

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $135,000.00 per year
