Role Overview & Responsibilities

Personal assistant/ carer - Hartlepool.

Our client is looking to recruit another carer to join his small team. He has a brain injury, and his team of carers support him in living independently in his home. Essential qualities for this role are to be caring; reliable; be proactive; positive and able to engage with the client. The client is a young gentleman who appreciates a good sense of humour and enjoys days out.

Duties will include all aspects of care including personal care; administering medication and using a ceiling hoist. Experience is desirable however it is not essential as training will be provided.

We have a vacancy for a carer to work 20 - 36 hours a week + occasional holiday cover) to work either permanent night shifts or a mixture of mainly day shifts with occasional night shifts, depending on preference. The working hours are: 07:00 – 17:00, with some 07:00 – 19:00 and nights are 19:00 – 07:00.

Start date for this role is expected to be as soon as possible (or as soon as notice period has been worked).
