Role Overview & Responsibilities

Role: Care Assistant
Hourly Rate: £11.00 per hour week days, and enhanced weekend hourly rate of £11.15
Total Hours : 24 and 36 hour contracts available
Shift Pattern: 12 hours, 8am - 8pm - Rolling rota alternate weekends

We are a private Health Care provider looking for experienced Care Assistants to join our residential home in Delph, Oldham, providing the very best care for elderly residents.

For these positions you will work on a rolling rota and flexibility is required to support the needs of our residents.

The role of Care Assistant will include

• Delivering the highest quality of personalised care to our residents in line with their individual care plans.
• Helping with all aspects of day-to-day life, as well as making sure they can enjoy leisure and social activities.
• Ensuring the overall happiness and well being of our residents by getting to know them and their families and providing them with emotional support and company.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of a care setting and the needs of elderly people.
• Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
• Experience of working in a UK care environment, ideally in a residential setting.
• Experience of delivering hands on care.
• Level 2 Qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essention
