Car Park Attendant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Grade 1 (SCP 3-4) £20,812 - £21,189 + 15% Shift allowance for working alternating shift pattern

Sunderland City Council are looking to recruit Car Park attendants to carry out duties in relation to parking operations, in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring an excellent customer service is maintained.

• Liaise with members of the public by giving information, advice and guidance on parking operations in a courteous manner ensuring that the Council’s customer care policy is adhered to at all times.

• Ensuring security of customers and vehicles whenever possible by patrolling and observing car park usage and reporting any incidents or concerns to a senior member of staff.

• Applicant will be required to patrol car parks, carry out maintenance and cleaning procedures, and monitor CCTV cameras

• Assist in all aspects of service delivery of the Council’s car park operations
