Role Overview & Responsibilities
This job is perfect for those looking to fit hours around school time!
You will not be expected to work every day of the week, rotas will be on a rotating schedule. The hours are roughly as follows, but can be adapted:
Monday: 9:30 - 14:30
Tuesday: 11:00 - 15:00
Wednesday: 10:00 : 14:00
Thursday: 11:00 - 15:00
Friday: 11:00 - 15:00
Saturday: 11:00 - 15:00
Sunday: 11:00 - 15:00
Supporting a lovely married couple in their 50's who live in their own flat. You will be working with a colleague on shift as part of a great team to enable this couple to live a fun filled life. They enjoy going out for lunch, shopping and having a hot drink on the Hoe! Getting creative with puzzles, arts & crafts, listening to music and watching their favourite shows.
Usual tasks within this role include:
- Preparing and cooking some meals as well as completing a weekly food shop.
- Helping to maintain a clean and safe environment (Cleaning, sorting and organising)
- Assisting with personal care & medication administration
- Supporting them to access their community
Full training will be provided & paid for so no experience is necessary.
A full and enhanced DBS will be required for this role.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week
Salary: Β£10.80 per hour
