Holiday Camp Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Supreme Sport & Camps Ltd are looking for enthusiastic Holiday Club Activity Assistants to join our year-round Holiday Club team in Caterham

KEY INFORMATION

• We are looking for staff with preferably with teaching, childcare, or football coaching experience
• Opportunity to work in February, Easter, May half term, Summer, October and Christmas Holidays
• The role is ideal for students as it fits around study commitments
• Work hours are 8am - 4.30pm
• Activity Assistants are paid based on age, qualifications, and experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work at our football or multi activity camps
• Deliver a range of sessions including various sports, arts & crafts and outdoor adventure activities
• Always provide a safe and secure environment for children
• Be able to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 14 years

ESSENTIAL

• Have a fun and energetic nature
• Be a people person with fantastic communication skills
• Sports coaching or childcare experience
• Have an enhanced DBS check or be willing to get one (paid for by the company)

DESIRABLE

• Safeguarding knowledge and understanding
• Ofsted knowledge and/or inspection experience
• First aid qualification
• Sports coaching or childcare qualifications

The safety and welfare of children is paramount to Supreme Sport & Camps Ltd, and all applicants will be subject to thorough background checks to ensure their suitability to work with children. These will include, but are not limited to reference checks, police checks, DBS checks and qualification checks.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: £200.00-£400.00 per week
