Swanline Print Ltd is a UK market leader in the trade supply of specialist printed packaging and point-of-sale displays.

A newly created position is available as a Cleaner, supporting Swanline to embed high cleaning standards throughout the business, creating / ensuring the business premises are a clean, healthy and a safe working environment for all. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking for employment; this is a role that suits an applicant that is enthusiastic, organized, & willing to show initiative on a daily basis.

The position is for 30hrs per week (Mon-Fri)

Key Duties

• Preparing areas for cleaning
• The cleaning of specific types of areas such as offices, toilets, walls, floors, kitchens, canteens, changing rooms, office and factory bins.
• Placing warning signs to alert people to potential hazards such as wet floors and spillages.
• Emptying waste bins, bagging up rubbish and making sure it is disposed of correctly
• Instructing and overseeing onsite contracted cleaning services, documenting and reporting cleaning standards where necessary
• Ensuring cleaning products and equipment are stored correctly and safely
• Monitoring levels of cleaning materials, recording stock levels and ordering supplies when necessary
• Maintaining up to date cleaning records and charts to comply with BRC standards

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

Experience:

• cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
