DESSERT MAKER

We are looking for a friendly and ambitious dessert enthusiast to be the face of Sweet Paradice Desserts and serve in the vibrant area of Morningside in Edinburgh. EH10 6AB.

We are looking for experienced, hard-working individuals who enjoy creating, delicious and exciting desserts. We require individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment, can handle the pressure of a busy kitchen and are able to provide our exceptional high quality and standards.

You need to be reliable and able to work as part of team and when necessary, individually to create high quality desserts and customer service. You need to be flexible when working and may be required to cover shifts occasionally.

Part Time - Flexible Shifts - Weekday and Weekend Shifts

Job description

Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

- Be able to prepare desserts such as waffles, crepes, cheesecakes, cookie doughs following high presentation standards.

- Provide good customer service whilst greeting customers, attending to customers, taking phone orders etc.

- Handling cash and card payments.

- Help with other sections of the restaurant when needed including taking orders to customers, using the epos system, washing up.

- Following set guidelines on the preparation of a variety of drinks, including milkshakes.

- Assisting in the opening & closing of the store.

- Preparing high quality takeaway orders.

- Keeping work-stations clean and following hygiene procedures meticulously. Keeping work area well stocked during service hours.

- Completing stock checks and replenishing stock with the team.

- Once trained, be able to support and train new members of staff.

- May be required to take care of the shop/order/customers from time to time without supervision. (Once trained to a high standards).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: £7.00-£10.50 per hour
