Job description

With the growth of our store, a new position has arisen at Tanlux Tanning Shop, Newport to join our friendly team.

Daily Duties:

Meeting and greeting our clients with a warm and friendly smile and welcome
Selling tanning packages, lotions and other retail products. Learning about products, their names, features and benefits
Keeping the shop and sunbeds to a very high standard of cleanliness
Provide professional guidance on tanning and advise clients on the best products to help them achieve great tanning results
Following the law, challenging age to ensure clients are 18+ and ensuring all our clients have eye wear
Opening and closing of the store, covering a variety of shifts throughout the week and being as flexible as you can, supporting the business and your colleagues

Ideal Candidate:

Confident, Organized and Self Motivated
Professional, Presentable and Polite
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Basic computer skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Good availability to cover a range of shifts

Experience working in a tanning shop is not essential but desirable, although full training will be provided.

Applicants must be 18 or over.

Job Types: Permanent, Zero hours contract

Salary: £7.00-£9.50 per hour

• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• customer service: 1 year (preferred)
