Junior IT Consultant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Fast-growing IT consultancy seeks a motivated and analytical Engineering or Computer Science graduate with a keen and inquisitive mind who is happy to take on new skills and become an expert in a specialist product. Working closely with the Directors you will be joining the team as a Junior Consultant and will be trained to handle software issues and provide technical assistance to customers. A diplomatic and methodical approach to problem solving is essential.

In this role, you will be involved in a wide variety of activities, including providing technical support to clients and assisting with project deliveries. You will receive full on-the-job training on the product, so no previous experience is required.

Your responsibilities will include: Providing first-line support to clients. Designing data structures, analytics, and displays for client and in-house projects. Collaborating with the team to deliver projects on time and within budget. Continuously learning and staying up-to-date on new technology and industry developments.

You should be a recent graduate with a numerate degree (Engineering or Computer Science preferred), have a strong analytical and methodical approach to tasks with great communication and customer service skills. Some understanding of database systems and or software development experience would be an advantage.

37.5 hours per week.

Home-based with occasional travel to London premises (typically 1 day per week/fortnight).

Occasional visits to client sites - weekdays only, fully expensed.
