Role Overview & Responsibilities

At TEC Partners we are extremely excited to be recruiting for a client who has grown exponentially over the last 12 months, due to this they are looking to add a talented Bioinformatician to join their award-winning team. What your responsibilities will be as a Bioinformatician:

• Providing computational analysis for Transcriptomics and Genomics
• Working extensively with the computational biology team & experimental stem cell Scientists
• Working collaboratively with the design and execution of our client’s ambitious research programmes for uncovering core transcriptional programs that define human cell types.

What our client is looking for:

• A PhD in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology or a related field.
• Experience with analysing Transcriptomic (Bulk and/single cell RNAseq) data.
• Proficient with R and/or Python.
• A candidate who is comfortable at communicating Bioinformatics analyses to wet lab Biologists.
• Ability to interpret and communicate statistical data.

Salary: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
