Every year, 100 billion new items of clothing are produced whilst a truck full of clothing is burned, or buried in landfill every second. Our mission is to help brands end waste. To do this, we’ve created the world's first ever closed-loop, circular supply chain which allows us to make new products from waste material right from the beginning, and it’s a game changer.

We’re growing at an exponential rate and we work with some major brands such as BBC Earth, WWF, Ecosia, Google, Surfers Against Sewage and more.

Words don’t change the world, action does. That’s why we are working on the front line of fast fashion to make the world more sustainable. This growth has resulted in the opportunity for a new Junior Press Executive to join our existing team.

Working with the busy content and marketing teams to take Teemill and Rapanui's stories, products and services to the wider world, the Junior Press Executive will buildrelationships with mainstream media titles as well as specialist websites, blogs and journalists.

With guidance from the Editorial Content Lead, the successful candidate will distribute media campaigns across a wide range of subjects, from Teemill's pioneering tech that is helping its community of over 10,000 stores to end waste, to Rapanui's new circular product launches.

We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about sustainability and circular design, and who is versatile enough to work across multiple projects at once.

Main responsibilities include

• Building and maintaining relationships with journalists, press, websites, organisations and blogs in order to secure coverage online and in print
• Writing engaging, informative press releases
• Researching publications and platforms to approach for coverage
• Coordinating press, influencer and celebrity gifting
