- Operations
- Support of development (ZI, SC and cross-departmental) projects within the given timeframe.
- Generate workshop test procedures, qualification reports and results for distribution.
- Technical evaluation of applications and provision of equipment specification and recommendation
- Provision and management of technical documentation for tenders, technical proposals and project delivery
- Technical support of project delivery in line with internal processes, e.g. contract review
- Production of product quality plans and support of manufacturing activities, including third party support and tool assembly when required.
- Product and service improvement in commercialised product range to increase value, reduce cost and increase competitiveness.
- Assist with customer field operations preparation and deployment for completions technology product range
INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES
- To demonstrate commitment to the quality of service, including quality of records produced, aiming at meeting and exceeding customer expectations;
- To demonstrate personal commitment to protection of Health, Safety and the Environment;
- To follow company QHSE Policy, relevant operational procedures, HSE procedures and risk assessments;
- To communicate and report on any perceived non-conformances or faults in the service provided or in the companys Quality or HSE Management Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:Bachelors Degree in engineering or oilfield discipline
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
- Good problem-solving abilities displaying a logical and pro-active response
- Show a strong understanding of customers requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to deliver well written and constructed technical documentation
- Ability to use standard Microsoft office packages, e.g. excel, word, powerpoint
- Demonstrate an ability to work unsupervised and exercise initiative to resolve potential problems
- Relevant technical or practical skills for the understanding and deployment of completion technology
Preferred:
- Engineering background, preferably with knowledge of manufacturing/machine shop environments
- Field experience in the deployment of downhole technology
PERSONAL QUALITIES
- Willing to travel and work in a global team of professionals, including relocation at end of 24 month period
- Willing to undertake offshore operations training
- Demonstrate a strong ability under pressure to meet client delivery expectations
- Must demonstrate an ability to effectively utilise dedicated resources, and the ability to plan, control, and take responsibility for own work
- Must demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of the job role and have a desire to build and maintain high level of professional relationships with internal and external clients.
- Must be able to respond effectively to demands of a high and varied workload, tight deadlines and changing job priorities.
