Role Overview & Responsibilities

Full / Part time Travel Sales Consultant for our Ludlow Office

We are looking for dynamic people who are confident and friendly and are happy to work in a small, busy team selling products they love.

You need to have great travel sales skills and be able to deliver excellent customer service to our loyal Ludlow community.

Polite and Professional Communication Skills are essential. We are looking for individuals who can communicate with people at all levels of the business and can adapt accordingly when dealing with customers or colleagues by telephone, email and in person.

Good knowledge on all aspects of Worldwide Travel Sales

Saturday working on a rota basis essential

4 weeks Annual Leave allowance

No Bank Holiday working

No Sundays

Occasional work in our Church Stretton Office may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Answer client questions.
• Book flights, cars, hotels, and other travel related services.
• Schedule flights and accommodation based on customer preferences.
• Provide advice to help customers find the best services and rates related to travelling.
• Provide means of contacting and getting a response from a customer service representative if issues arise with a travel service provider.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns.

• Customer Service - exceptional level required to build and maintain a loyal customer base.
• Administration - competent, conscientious, ability to prioritise and work to high standards.
• Communication - polite & professional at all levels.
• I.T. - basic IT skills essential.
• Financial - trustworthy, with a good level of numeracy & accuracy.
• Travel Knowledge - good knowledge on worldwide travel.
• Team Work - effective team player and able to work unsupervised at times.
• Target Driven - can work to targets and complete tasks to given deadlines.

Rate of pay is negotiable dependant on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
