Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a family-run, forecourt service station looking for a Sale Assistant to join our jolly team. Our petrol station is located on the Galmington side of Taunton, offering a unique and friendly place to work.

Over the years we have grown a large customer base, which uses us every day because of our old fashion type of customer service.

Our opening hours are Mon to Fri 5:45-22:00, Sat 05:45 to 21:00 and Sun 06:45 to 20:00.

We are currently looking for a Part-Time Sales Assistant for a three shifts a week, these shifts will be evenings, starting at 2 pm weekdays and 1:30 pm weekends.

These three shifts would be rotated on a two-weeks schedule. Week one three evening during the week and week two would be one day during the week then Saturday and Sunday.

Position Duties:

· Provide excellent customer service

· Handling Cash and Card transactions, till operation, stock replenishment and shift paperwork

· Locking up (Closing) the Petrol Station

· Flexibility for differing shifts and occasionally covering holiday/sickness

· Working alone and unsupervised, for part of your shift

Position Requirements

· Must be over 18, because of working alone and the sale of age-restricted goods

· Previous retail experience would be an advantage; however, full training will be provided.

This position is hourly paid at £10.80 an hour, paid weekly or monthly, free onsite parking, staff discount and uniform supplied.
