Role Overview & Responsibilities

Tezlom are looking for experienced Care Assistants to cover shifts in Care Homes and Nursing Homes in and around Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Falkirk and Stirling.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for people with great experience and people-skills who are compassionate, reliable, and passionate about care. You must have at least 6 months of paid UK Care experience gained in the last 5 years. Ideally, you’ll be a driver and willing to travel within a 30-minute radius of your home. Alternatively, you must have good access to public transport. Although it is not essential, being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is preferred.

What does this role involve?

We supply Care Assistants to a wide range of Care Homes and Nursing Homes. This role will involve personal care so this should be something that you are comfortable with. Our Care Assistant shifts are predominantly with elderly residents, and you’ll be involved in all aspects of their care including washing, dressing, helping at mealtimes, getting involved in resident activities or even just being a friendly face to listen to the resident’s life stories over a cup of tea. All successful applicants will be required to apply for a PVG membership through Disclosure Scotland and must be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of their start date.
