Kitchen Porter/Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are excited to announce that The Admiral Woods, our brand new bar located in the heart of the city, is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and assisting the chefs with prep work.

Responsibilities:

• Washing dishes, pots, and pans
• Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy at all times
• Assisting the chefs with prep work, such as chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients
• Ensuring food hygiene standards are met at all times
• Helping with deliveries and storage of supplies
• Any other duties as required by the Head Chef

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
• Good communication and team working skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• A positive and can-do attitude

Salary:

• Pay will be minimum £10.50 or more depending on experience
