Title: Labourer / Semi Skilled Labourer

The Best Connection are recruiting a Labourer/Assistant Fitter for a family owned business based in Darlington. This vacancy is an immediate start and temporary to permanent for the right candidate.

Duties include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with the installation of fireplaces
• Some heavy lifting to load/unload vans with products and equipment
• Measuring and cutting holes into walls
• Operating hand tools
• Cleaning dust and rubble
• Minor repair work

Applicants must be courteous as you will be working in peoples homes

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday
• 8.30am to 4.30pm

Pay Rates:

• Starting pay rate:
• £10.50 per hour basic rate Monday to Friday
• £15.75 per hour for any hours worked on Saturday
• After 3 months continuous work pay rates increase to:
• £12.00 per hour basic rate Monday to Friday
• £18.00 per hour for any hours worked Saturday
