Managing :
· Box Office (during performance times and taking ad hoc customer calls)
· Customer Experience (Front of House face of the theatre)
· Volunteer stewards
· Building Security
· Building Integrity
Main responsibilities of the job:
· Audience safety and security first and foremost.
· Staff safety and security
· Managing the Box Office on performance days
· The security of any cash on the premises.
· Contacting the appropriate services in the event of an emergency.
· Making sure emergency exits are clear and usable.
· Building security both during and at the end of the event.
· Alarms being set appropriately at end of night.
· Keys being secured at end of night.
· Handling any complaints during event politely and fairly.
· Delegation of duties to staff as required.
· Making sure volunteer stewards have everything needed to do the job they’re assigned.
· Reporting of any issues arising to the building as quickly as possible.
· Dealing with any unforeseen issues that can be handled then and there.
· Working with Technical Manager and stage management/back of house
· Being aware of haze, strobe lighting etc and notifying customers per event.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: £12.50-£15.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bridport: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Customer Service: 5 years (preferred)
