Catering Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Catering Assistant to help support our catering team. The Catering Assistant will be responsible for preparing food and beverage orders and stocking supplies. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pleasure in serving others.

Responsibilities:

• Follow routine procedures for food preparation.
• Follow menu plans and recipes.
• Take orders over the phone.
• Take orders from customers in person.
• Prepare food in a timely manner.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Every weekend
• Holidays
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Caldicot: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Catering: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
