Garden Centre Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking to open a new Garden Centre site in the coming weeks and have various roles available within the company. We are looking for Till Assistants, Plant Area Assistants and general Store Assistants. We have a number of roles to fill and have vacancies available for both full and part time applicants. We expect all applicants to have the following:

· Excellent customer service.

· A desire to help the company build our brand in a new area.

· Merchandising products when they arrive.

· Organising the store.

· Keeping the Garden Centre clean and tidy.

· Other similar duties as and when required.

Previous retail experience is prefered, although training will be given.

The role is full time working 5 out of 7 days or part time to suit applicant (additional hours may be available during busy times of the year) and includes weekends and Bank Holidays.

For certain roles, knowledge of plants is preferred, but not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £6.50-£10.50 per hour
