Job Title: Weighbridge Operator

The Griffiths Group Limited is looking for a weighbridge operator to join our busy office team in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, have great customer service skills and a positive attitude.

This job role includes :

• Weighing vehicles containing scrap metal in and out of site.
• Producing weighbridge tickets and issuing these to customers and suppliers.
• Completing transfer notes and other documents for material leaving site.
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with other members of staff in the office and on site, receiving information about material quality, deductions etc.
• Ensuring personnel visiting site/weighing in are acting safely.
• Being able to keep track of numerous vehicles on site at one time.

No previous experience in the scrap metal industry or as a weighbridge operator required. Training available in house.

Must have good English, Maths and basic computer skills.

Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm

Saturday - OPTIONAL

Hourly rate, £10.50 per hour

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £10.50 per hour

• Monday to Friday
