Plant Assistant, Astbury Meadow Garden Centre

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Retail Assistant to join the team in our Astbury Meadow Garden Centre.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £9 to £10.46 per hour dependent on age.

The hours for this position are 24 hours per week over 3 days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

The Role

As a Plant Area Retail Assistant, you have a use your specialist plant knowledge to provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.

What you will be doing as a Plant Area Retail Assistant?

• Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
• Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
• Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
• Till operation and serving customers
• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
• Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
• Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
