Role Overview & Responsibilities

Do you want to use your practical skill set to make a difference to take action for nature? We are recruiting for 2 x Conservation & Landscape Operatives to join the team.

The Contract Services Department of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust has developed over the years into a professional and respected unit within the organisation for the delivery of a range of conservation, landscape and countryside management work. Based at Brockholes Nature Reserve, the team works across a wide area within the region.

An opportunity has arisen for two new operatives to join the team on a permanent basis, and the successful applicants will work with the operatives and senior operatives, to deliver practical conservation, landscaping and countryside management tasks across a range of sites.

The ideal applicant will be an enthusiastic and adaptable individual who has practical experience in a conservation role, who can operate site machinery.

We offer a friendly and flexible working environment with the chance to be a part of the largest nature conservation body in the area, working together to improve our region for nature as well as engaging and inspiring people to connect and take action for wildlife.
