Laundry Assistant

Key Responsibilities

· Operating the washing and drying machines

· Organisation of linen including storage, folding and ironing as necessary.

· General cleaning duties in the laundry, washing floors and general tidying.

· Assist with general housekeeping duties throughout the Housekeeping department

· Good Health & Safety awareness, training will be given in chemical requirements.

What we are looking for?

· Manual handling is a key requirement of the role.

· Must have working knowledge of laundry

· Previous experience of working with laundry presses is an advantage.

· Good Health & Safety knowledge in chemical use and general risk awareness

· Reliable and good timekeeper with excellent teamwork

Shift pattern:

7:30 am - 16:00 pm and 9:00 am - 17:30 pm on rotation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,880.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Teddington: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
