Food Production Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to work in our jam team. Duties would include (but are not limited to) making jam, marmalade, chutney and curd, jarring and lidding finished products and doing some labelling when needed. The job is quite physical and own transport is essential due to not being on a regular bus route. Hours are Monday to Thursday 9am until 5pm with the option of extra hours on a Friday or the possibility of slightly longer evening shifts if wanted. Due to food handling requirements, a high standard of personal hygiene is essential. Previous experience of working in food production and a food hygiene certificate is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 32 per week

Salary: From £11.00 per hour
