As THE OUT grows, so does our fleet and operational teams across London. We are looking for people who want to be part of a fast growing start up, working with premium cars and managing a team of Driver Representatives.
Role Purpose
Being part of the Operations Team, the Driver Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for the sourcing, onboarding, engagement, and off-boarding on demand driving service providers. The Driver Onboarding Specialist contributes to the objective of scaling up THE OUT’s booking fulfilment operations.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Work with the Operations Manager to provide a consistent supply of driver capacity
- Be the main point of contact and handle all inquiries from On Demand Drivers
- Ensure new On Demand Drivers are onboarded effectively and understand clearly the obligations detailed in the service contract (such as safety, on-time delivery, delivery vehicle requirement, customer experience etc).
- Create and update training materials
- Build and maintain strong relationship with On Demand Drivers. Gather their feedback and contribute to operational improvements.
- Monitor On Demand Drivers performance and identify issues and propose initiatives to solve them
- Prepare reports and analytics to measure operational effectiveness and use the insights gathered to drive decision making
- Bring in new ideas and anticipate future threats and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that our On Demand Drivers receive the best experience
- Assist the Fleet Team with day-to-day tasks whenever is necessary
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has a passion for exceptional customer service with the confidence to lead from the front
- Is passionate and knowledgeable about cars
- Is a natural team player – always reliable, displaying genuine commitment to the business, communicates openly and with confidence, respects others
- Has strong organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Is flexible to work on weekends
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ownership of a full clean GB or EU driving licence held for a minimum of 24 months
- Previous experience in a similar role, onboarding or trainer
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment – no two days will be the same and ability to think on your feet is very important
- Solid writing skills to produce clear and effective documentation and reports
