Preschool Teacher

Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Quarry Lane School is seeking a full-time (9:00AM-5:30PM) preschool teacher with students ages three to four years old at our preschool campuses. We are looking for a creative, loving, energetic teacher. This teacher will be responsible for the general supervision and management of the classroom for children in the preschool program.

Duties:

-Plan, supervise, and implement the curriculum in accordance with Quarry Lane School policies and procedures.

-Keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times.

-Communicate effectively and professionally with school personnel, children and parents.

-Ability to utilize technology (an ipad) to take pictures, update daily reports, communicate with families for each child, using the app Tadpoles.

-Monitor and assess student progress.

-Implement all safety and health policies of the Quarry Lane School and the State of California Social Service Child Care Licensing Department.

Position Requirements:

-Must Have 12 Core Early Childhood Education/Child Development units completed.

-Must clear fingerprinting, background check, health screening, TB test and proof of immunity to measles and Pertussis (whooping cough).

-Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
Daily health screenings for all students and staff, temperature checks, frequent cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing of all toys and surfaces.
