Foundry Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Permanent position working for an established and successful world leader in precision manufacturing of parts for the fuel industry.

Duties

• Load and unloading of moulding robots

• Ability to measure liquid viscosity and weights

• Using standard operating procedures to repair components

• Complete quality documentation

• Inspection of components

• Working in a hot metal environment

Skills/ Experience / Knowledge

• Previous experience of working in a foundry

• Good time management skills

• Good verbal and listening skills

• Knowledge of foundry processes, casting, shelling process, and robotic shell manufacture

• Operating air hand grinding tools

• Shell and moulding de-waxing and preparation

• Able to use a variety of measuring equipment

Day shift Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.15pm Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm
