Staff Nurse

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for highly motivated band 5 Staff Nurses who wish to
work on an extremely busy Surgical Admissions ward.

We have 38 inpatient beds and a Surgical Assessment Area taking
patients from CCC, Accident and Emergency and other portals.

We care for General Surgical , Urology , Vascular patients so the
successful candidates will gain experience in nursing patients from
a variety of specialities.

The main duties of the job is to care for a group of general Surgical
patients assessing, implementing and evaluating care.

We are looking for motivated staff who wish to expand their skills in
a variety of surgical conditions.

Staff employed would be encouraged to complete venepuncture and
cannulation and male catheterisation.

We have a team of highly motivated staff , due to the nature of the
ward team work is a high priority to all staff.

There is a strong work ethic where staff strive for the best outcome
for their patient.

The ward work with a can do attitude and this is encouraged by senior
staff.
