Role Overview & Responsibilities

Vacancy for a PART TIME WAITER / WAITRESS 11.30am to 2.30pm MON-FRI 15 hours per week

The Terrace is a very high volume Café, located within a prominent Norwich business park.

Our aim is to consistently deliver excellent service to our business client base and strive for customer satisfaction.

We are recruiting for a well-presented, confident, fast working and focused staff member to start full time work immediately over busy lunchtime periods.

You must be a pro-active and thoughtful team player, looking for a settled long term employment.

This is an extremely busy café therefore it would be helpful if you are already used to working within a fast paced environment and have experience of electronic tills and ordering systems.

Initiative, attention to detail and the ability to interact courteously and efficiently with customers without being intrusive is essential.

You will be required to work in many aspects of the business which include:

• Table Service
• Bar Service
• Takeaway Area
• Preparing Drinks
• Delivery of business lunches and takeaway orders

Duties Include:

• Wait on and serve customers within the Café
• Take orders and process these on the EPOS System
• Anticipate customers’ needs and respond promptly
• Use automated payment tills
• Answer telephones, take table bookings, orders and messages
• Deliver food orders swiftly & professionally within the business park
• Ensure tables equipment and related cafe areas are clean and well presented
• Undertake stock control of confectionary, drinks and ancillary items for the takeaway area

NO WEEKENDS / NO EVENINGS / NO BANK HOLIDAYS / CLOSED AT CHRISTMAS / FRIENDLY PLACE OF WORK /Hours of Work: Mon to Fri 11.30am – 2.30pm
