Role Overview & Responsibilities

Thorium Security is currently recruiting a Retail Security Officer for a well-known Retail Supermarket in Heckmondwike, WF16.

We are seeking highly experienced customer-focused individuals

Part time (30 hours / week) permanent position

Pay rate: £10.61 per hour

Shift pattern:
Wednesday 14:00-22:00
Thursday 14:00-22:00
Friday 14:00-22:00
Saturday 14:00-22:00

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of staff and customers within the working environment
• Act as a visual deterrent
• Loss prevention following S.C.O.N.E.S.
• Liaising with Police and other emergency services
• Report writing including Civil recovery reports
• Any other retail security tasks as required

Job Requirements

• A Valid SIA License - Frontline Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
• Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested which includes you being able to supply a full 5-year work/education history
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Ability to deter anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activities
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Able to travel
