ThunderBolt Jointing Ltd is an electrical cable jointing company working within the power distribution industry.

Due to the expansion of our operations, we have a fantastic new opportunity for the right candidate in or around the Ringwood/Bournemouth Area.

Location is key as proximity to your team mate is vital, the team will have shared responsibility for a company vehicle and fuel card.

Position: Cable Jointers Mate / Self Employed Basis Immediate Start

Starting salary £28,800 + Bonuses, with potential to increase to £33,600 + Bonuses once trained and fully competent within the role.

Description: Following the instructions of the experienced cable jointer, undertaking the installation and connection of high and low voltage electrical mains and service cables.

Based on a five-day working week all Tools and PPE will be provided. Flexibility on working hours is essential but this goes both ways.

Description: Driving to depots and different site locations, Following the instructions of the experienced cable jointer, undertaking the installation and connection of high and low voltage electrical mains and service cables. All while maintaining high safety standards working within the public eye outside in all weathers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining Health and safety standards for self, co-workers, public and other trades
• Picking and loading of materials for daily tasks
• Keeping the works area, van and equipment clean, tidy and organised
• Mixing of resins
• Shared Driving

Candidates Must Have:

• Full UK Driving licence
• Good communication and customer service skills
