Gardener

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated, energetic and experienced individual to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining our properties' gardens including, watering, weeding and pruning trees. This is a full-time position which requires the candidate to be punctual and willing to work outside in all weather conditions. Our ideal candidate is environmentally conscious, willing to take direction well, and has experience with a variety of gardening activities. The candidate will be required to work primarily on a country estate in Newtown Abbott with occasional work within a 4 star hotel enviroment in Torquay.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the garden.
• Maintain the property's landscaping.
• Replenish mulch and soil.
• Maintain the flower beds.
• Clear the garden of debris.
• Prune trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Design the landscape.
• Maintain lawns and shrubs
• Perform basic carpentry work, such as fixtures, benches, trellises, repairs, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
